Jumpstart your learning at the 2014 AACP Annual Meeting with three outstanding pre-sessions on Saturday:
At the Teachers Seminar, 8:30 a.m.–3:15 p.m., attendees will learn how to get past “We’ve always done it this way” and move on to “There has to be a better way.” This interactive session will provide manageable strategies to navigate the road ahead.
Deans, alumni and development professionals are invited to Creating a Culture of Effectiveness: Integration and Communication for Developing a Culture of Philanthropy, 8:30 a.m.– 3:15 p.m., to explore and expand the culture of philanthropy at all levels of their institution.
Basic Skills for Developing Fundable Research Proposals, a pre-session, 1:30 p.m.–3:15 p.m., will guide faculty through effective research proposal development, preparation and submission. Attendees will learn critical skills and resources for generating novel research hypotheses through grant proposal writing and submission. The 2013–14 Academic Research Fellows will also participate in a breakout roundtable discussion and Q&A session.
After a full day of learning, get ready to socialize at the Academic Leadership Fellows Program 10th Anniversary Celebration during the Welcome Reception, from 6:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Mingle with colleagues and celebrate the Program’s past, present and future fellows who are changing the face of academic pharmacy.
