2013 Interim Meeting 

The 2013 AACP Interim Meeting in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico, will not be cancelled. However, we are aware of the severe weather developing in the Northeast.

A major winter storm, with blizzard conditions, is forecast to impact the Northeast Friday night into early Saturday, as a developing nor'easter moves up the Atlantic coast. Total snowfall accumulations of 1-2 feet are possible, with locally higher amounts. In addition, gusty winds will create blizzard conditions, especially along the coast, making travel extremely hazardous, if not impossible.

Only if you are unable to travel to the 2013 AACP Interim Meeting due to flight cancellations affected by this storm, please take three steps immediately:

  • If you have a hotel reservation, please call the hotel directly so that you are not charged for your first night’s room and tax

  • If you have scheduled shuttle or car service for your travel (to/from your airport; to/from SJU), you must call the transportation company directly to cancel and receive a refund.

  • Please contact Barbra A. Gustis in writing at no later than Monday, Feb. 11.  By Feb. 12, AACP will notify you of your meeting registration status (whether a refund can be given or a registration transfer to our 2013 annual or 2014 interim meeting can be made).
