The AACP advocacy agenda is aligned with the organizational policy statements developed through our governance bodies (Councils, Sections, Special Interest Groups, etc.) and considered for adoption by our House of Delegates.
The AACP advocacy agenda is supported by the evidence collected through our Institutional Research Service.
Learning to be an effective advocate requires an understanding the role of advocacy in our society and government, how to put that understanding into action- alone and with others-, demonstrating the importance of focus of our advocacy in our personal lives and lives of others, and sharing evidence that the focus of our advocacy is worthy of consideration and support by others.
