Call for ACPE Board of Directors Candidates Closing Soon

The AACP Board of Directors is seeking candidates for service on the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) Board of Directors. Candidates should submit a single PDF of the requested materials to AACP no later than close of business Tuesday, Sept. 3. Four Dual Degree Students Awarded Scholarships

In recognition that dual degree students have increased financial obligations as well as diverse interests, the Express Scripts Foundation will provide four $10,000 scholarships to dual degree students as part of the AACP-administered Express Scripts Scholars Program. The 2013 Express Scripts Scholars are:

  1. Shin H. Cho, The University of Toledo, Pharm.D./Ph.D. Candidate;
  2. Ryan P. Hickson, University of Kentucky, Pharm.D./M.P.H. Candidate;
  3. Lily J. Nguyen, Shenandoah University, Pharm.D./MBA Candidate; and
  4. Rebecca A. Pulk, University of Minnesota, Pharm.D./M.S. Candidate.

Experience the 2013 Annual Meeting Through the AACP Online Learning Center

If you missed a particular session at the conference or couldn’t attend the event this year, the AACP Online Learning Center is the resource you need. Access many sessions from the 2013 Annual Meeting and continue your professional development. AACP Annual Meeting attendees can access these recordings at no additional cost. If you didn’t attend the meeting this year, you can purchase content online. Visit the AACP Online Learning Center now to browse our library of available session recordings.

Don’t Forget: Submit Annual Meeting Continuing Education Credits

Annual Meeting attendees can access the Learning Management System until Wednesday, Sept. 18, to submit their Continuing Education credits. Presenters announced the Event Code at the conclusion of their presentations during the meeting. For log-in instructions, please refer to the AACP Official Program Guide handed out at the meeting. If you have questions regarding your CE from the conference, please contact the VCU School of Pharmacy at 804-828-3003.

Fall IPEC Institute Registration is Open

The Interprofessional Education Collaborative is hosting an introductory IPE faculty development institute Oct. 7-9 in Chicago, Illinois. Registration is now open. For more information, visit the IPEC Web site.
