AACP Announces the Newest Academic Leadership Fellows
Thirty pharmacy educators have been selected for the 2014–2015 cohort of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy’s Academic Leadership Fellows Program (ALFP). Now in its 11th year, the program is designed to develop the nation’s most promising pharmacy faculty for roles as future leaders in pharmacy education and beyond. Is your institution is changing your community through service? Have your faculty and students made a positive impact in the neighborhood around your institutions? Let us know by applying for the Lawrence C. Weaver Transformative Community Service Award. New Updates to AACP Member Profile
AACP members now have the ability to select up to five areas of expertise within their member profile. You can also provide a link to a school faculty profile or LinkedIn page, upload your CV, as well as indicate the number of years you’ve been in academia since your first appointment. These modifications will improve Roster Search capabilities to identify faculty with particular expertise. Log in to your member profile to make these updates.

Availability of Fiscal Year 2013 Pharmacy Faculty Research Grant Data
Data on research grants awarded to pharmacy faculty members for fiscal year 2013 is now available for members to access in the AACP Pharmacy Faculty Research Grant Data and Federal Grants Search directories. Faculty research grant institutional rankings for 2013 are also available for members to access in an Excel file format on the AACP Web site.

Upcoming Webinar from the Geriatric Pharmacy SIG
The first installment of the Geriatric Pharmacy SIG Webinar Series, Beyond Flu Shots: Update on Immunizations for Older Adults, will take place Tuesday, July 22, at 1:00 p.m. EDT. This dynamic webinar will review the current CDC and CMS vaccination recommendations for elderly patients, as well as discuss some of the new vaccine technologies that are encountered in clinical practice. New Investigator Award Intent Window Opening Soon
Letters of Intent for the 2014–2015 AACP New Investigator Award will be accepted between July 8 and Aug. 1. Instructions and application forms can be found on the AACP Web site.

Google+ Hangout with the Winners of the Script Your Future Challenge
On Aug. 7, from Noon–1:00 p.m. EDT, join a Google+ Hangout with the winning teams of the 2014 Script Your Future Medication Adherence Team Challenge. AACP Seeks Input into the ACPE Standards 2016 Revision
The Board of Directors has appointed a committee comprised of both Board members and members-at-large to collect input regarding the ACPE Standards 2016 revision on behalf of the Association. This survey provides individual members an opportunity to provide comments directly to the committee. The Section and SIG leaders are also providing feedback in a separate survey. Please respond by

PhRMA Foundation
The PhRMA Foundation is seeking applications for its 2015 Adherence Award programs. The programs provide financial support for investigators whose research aims to advance knowledge of innovative and effective approaches to improve medication adherence. The Hispanic-Serving Health Professions Schools has made the call for poster abstracts for their Development Workshop: Using Data Systems to Improve Hispanic Health Outcomes, taking place July 24–25.
