The 2014 Interim Meeting will be held Feb. 8-11 in Arlington, Va. The theme of this year’s meeting is dedicated to individual leadership with a focus on initiating partnerships and inspiring innovation. AACP has named Kaplan Test Prep as its official test prep provider for the Pharmacy College Admissions Test (PCAT). The announcement comes in conjunction with the launch of the AACP and Kaplan Test Prep co-sponsored Foundations of the Future Pharmacist Program, which seeks to make PCAT prep more accessible to all students. As part of this program, Kaplan will significantly reduce tuition for its PCAT prep programs, offer more tuition assistance, and give 250 scholarships to AACP to award at its own discretion.

In this guide you’ll also find a membership renewal heads-up as well as a call for award nominations. Polls open Nov. 1 and close Dec. 2 at 11:59 p.m. EST.
AACP is accepting applications for APPE students who wish to complete a rotation and learn more about association work. Applications for rotations occurring in fall 2014 and spring 2015 are due by Friday, Nov. 1. NASThe National Academies has issued a call for candidates to enroll in its 2014 Jefferson Science Fellows program. Working with the Department of State and USAID, the program engages the academic community in the design and implementation of U.S. foreign policy.
