The virtual INterim Meeting – INclusion 2021 – will feature speakers and programming that focus on the critical issues you and your peers are facing during these challenging times.
Three broad themes that will be explored in multiple sessions are:
- COVID-19 and its implications for pharmacy education, as well as in response to future pandemics
- How members are currently supporting faculty diversity, and what more can be done
- All aspects of healthcare practice transformation
Keynote speaker Susan Dentzer, Senior Policy Fellow for the Robert J. Margolis Center for Health Policy at Duke University, will discuss how health care is changing, how these changes have accelerated in the current climate and the implications for pharmacy and pharmacy education.

- Non-traditional/alternate work arrangements

- International cooperation on education and research

Join leaders in research training from colleges and schools of pharmacy for a virtual meeting focused on graduate and post-graduate training of outstanding pharmaceutical researchers and clinician scientists. This highly interactive symposium will address critical issues for preparing the next generation of clinical and translational scientists, including successful strategies for research-focused dual-degree programs, strong practices for recruitment and diversity, supporting high-quality mentoring, and sustaining students and innovative programs through the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.

The Administrative and Financial Officers (AFO) SIG program is designed for administrative and financial officers, as well as other AACP participants interested in key administrative, financial, and leadership issues that influence the operations of colleges of pharmacy. This program will provide participants the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions with peers, regarding the response to the COVID-19 pandemic, leadership, and support to Deans, and other areas of responsibility within the Finance and Administration role.
