Call for Applications: Editor-in-Chief
Applications are due by April 1, 2025.
There will be a three-month transition period beginning (tentatively) September 1, 2025, during which the new editor will work with the current Editor-in-Chief, the Editorial Team, and Elsevier staff to ensure a smooth transfer of duties The editorship is scheduled to begin Jan. 1, 2026.
Call for Applications: Editorial Board Members
Applications are due by April 4, 2025.
The American Journal of Pharmaceutical Education (AJPE) is seeking individuals for open positions on its Editorial Board. Editorial Board members:
- Assist the Editorial Team in reviewing manuscripts as requested.
- Advise the Editorial Team regarding direction and strategic planning.
- Recommend topics that might be of interest to the readers.
- Participate in Editorial Board meetings at the AACP Annual meeting or other conference calls.
- Serve on AJPE Task Forces.
Additionally, each Editorial Board member is invited to submit two AJPE commentaries for consideration to be published in the Journal over the course of a single term. Members serve a 3-year term and may be asked to renew their tenure by one additional 3-year term. Editorial Board members are selected based on their AJPE peer-review and manuscript submission records, overall experience, and credentials, as well as other interactions with the Journal.
Interested individuals should submit their CV and a letter of intent (no longer than 2 pages) outlining their submission and peer review history, as well as the reasons informing their interest in serving on the AJPE Editorial Board, to Gayle Brazeau, AJPE Editor in Chief, at brazeau@marshall.edu no later than April 4, 2025.
