National Pharmacist Workforce Studies

The National Pharmacist Workforce Study (NPWS) provides an update on the pharmacist workforce and examines changes from previous studies. NPWS reports are sponsored by the Pharmacy Workforce Center (formerly the Pharmacy Manpower Project, Inc.).

Members of the Midwest Pharmacy Workforce Research Consortium (MPWRC) involved in conducting the National Pharmacist Workforce Study are excited to collaborate with you or your organization regarding pharmacy workforce data and research. Please use the Request Process to contact the MPWRC.

The National Pharmacist Workforce Study is sponsored and funded by the Pharmacy Workforce Center (formerly the Pharmacy Manpower Project, Inc.). It is the standing policy of the PWC, a not-for-profit organization, to pay no indirect costs for funded projects. This has been the case for all of the previous contracts awarded to the Midwest Pharmacy Workforce Research Consortium for their work completed regarding the National Pharmacists Workforce Study.
