Who should attend the 2025 AI Institute?

The virtual Artificial Intelligence (AI) Institute: Using AI as an Educational Tool, January 22-24, will help members gain knowledge and tools needed to utilize artificial intelligence in education. Institutional teams will collaborate with other faculty and staff across the Academy to discuss solutions and implementation strategies to using AI as an educational tool. On day 2, participants will have the opportunity to personalize their learning through four tracks: didactic, experiential education, skills lab, and administration. Any faculty, staff, or student is encouraged to attend. There will be something for everyone!

Can teams/individuals attend the 2025 AI Institute?

AACP encourages any faculty member, administrator, or staff person to attend. There is a special student rate, and we encourage teams to include the perspectives of students!

AACP member institutions are encouraged to coordinate team composition of up to 10 team members. Individuals can also register if a school/college does not have enough people to send a team. Attendees should be willing to commit designated time during the AI Institute, as well as after, to ensure their plan is implemented.

How is payment for the institute handled?

Prior to registering, team composition should be determined, and schools/colleges are encouraged to have all team members register at the same time to ensure the full team can attend. The team maximum is 10 individuals per team. One person from the team/school can register the entire team via the online registration page. If you would like to register any students or staff who may not be listed in our records, please email AACP for assistance.

If an individual needs to register and pay separately, the AACP staff will make sure he or she is added to a team based on their school. If a school is unable to send a full team, individuals may still register for the institute using the online form and will be assigned a team for the Institute. Registration for the event is on a first-come, first-served basis. Credit card is the only form of payment method accepted.

What is the refund and cancellation policy?

A cancellation fee of 15 percent of the total team registration per school will be applied if the team or an individual withdraws from the Institute before January 3, 2025. No refunds will be given after January 3, 2025.

Will any portion of the institute be recorded?

Large keynote sessions and concurrent track sessions will be recorded (full recordings not guaranteed for track sessions due to constraints of the online platform capability), but mixed cohort sessions and team time sessions will not be recorded. The recordings will be made available a few weeks after the Institute is completed.
