A Translational Case Study for Scholarship Collaboration Between Practice and Science Faculty
Hosted by the Pharmaceutics Section
Pharmacy practice faculty encounter unique clinical questions frequently during patient care. Certain characteristics of the clinical questions lend themselves naturally for research collaboration with pharmaceutical science faculty and can create meaningful scholarship projects for students. In this webinar, the speakers will present a case study of such a collaboration which has led to valuable outcomes for clinical applications and successful scholarly publications.
Objectives
- Identify the characteristics of potential clinical questions for scientific investigation.
- Define the scope of the research project that is appropriate for student learners.
- Clarify the roles and responsibilities among faculty collaborators.
- Develop a practical plan to disseminate the research outcomes.
