The COVID-19 pandemic has hastened the growth of online education and innovative virtual teaching strategies. In this webinar, three faculty members will provide an overview of how they have adapted pharmacogenomics education for the online environment. They will share lessons learned, challenges encountered, and innovative practices that emerged from teaching pharmacogenomics virtually. The webinar will conclude with a Q&A session with the speakers.
Objectives:
- Explain how pharmacy faculty have adapted pharmacogenomics education for the online environment during the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Describe lessons learned, challenges encountered, and innovative practices associated with virtual teaching of pharmacogenomics.
- Discuss current practices in online education in pharmacogenomics that will be valuable to maintain after the pandemic is over.
