Process, Policies, and Best Practices
Hosted by the EDI Institute.
Accommodating students with disabilities on clinical rotations continues to be a source of confusion, with many programs reporting that they simply ‘do not accommodate clinicals.’ This response; however, is not in keeping with best practices or legal requirements for Pharmacy Education.
Join us for a webinar on Accommodations on Rotations in Pharmacy Education. In this webinar, we will identify the biggest misconceptions about accommodations and offer approaches that are well-vetted nationally. We will provide answers for some of the most frequently asked questions about clinical accommodations and break down the decision-making process using case studies that draw on the latest research and case law.
Objectives:
- Identify barriers and misconceptions about accommodations on clinical rotations.
- Define current legal standards for clinical accommodations.
- Discuss inclusive best practices for clinical accommodations applied to pharmacy education.
