Back by popular demand, this session builds on foundational growth mindset principles to engage attendees with a more advanced understanding and application. Join us for an interactive session of problem-solving, demonstration, active learning, and practical tips in applying growth mindset theory to current challenges facing pharmacy educators, such as declining NAPLEX pass rates, professional burnout, and declining admissions rates. This session assumes attendees have a basic understanding of growth mindset theory.

Objectives:

  • Review the differences between a fixed and growth mindset.
  • Apply growth mindset principles to challenging situations facing pharmacy practice and education.
  • Create an action plan to address a personal or professional challenge using a growth mindset.
