AACP provides programs, resources and funding to support research projects and career development efforts for individual investigators. Additionally, AACP aggregates information and provides resources to assist institutions maintain research programs dedicated to excellence, including dedicated resources for topics of special interest.

  • Pharmacy Academia Implementation Science (PAIS) Community: AACP is fostering the PAIS community, with a mission to inspire the pharmacy academy to cultivate and promote the impact of dissemination and implementation (D&I) science on pharmacy practice and pharmaceutical sciences.
  • Pharmacy SuRGE (Scholarship, Research and Graduate Education): Pharmacy SuRGE is an AACP initiative to bring together leaders from pharmacy schools to advance research, research training and graduate education. Quarterly SuRGE meetings provide an opportunity to discuss strategies for supporting research, identify opportunities for collaboration, and share experience in navigating the changing research regulation and funding landscape.
  • Pharmacy Education Research and Graduate Education Posters: Accepted Posters from previous AACP Annual Meetings can be viewed on AACP Learn, searchable by poster title.
  • AACP Data Collection Activities Request Form: Use this form to request the use of AACP resources (e.g., faculty list, staff time) for a data collection or survey activity, whether performed as part of an AACP affiliate activity or not. Requests will be reviewed by the AACP Survey and Ad Hoc Data Request Committee.
  • Funded Research Grant Data (FRGD) Collection: Information about AACP's annual data collection of extramural research funding awarded to colleges and schools of pharmacy, including a link to an eligibility checklist.
  • Funded Research Grant Institutional Tables: yearly institutional tables based on extramural research funding awarded to colleges and schools of pharmacy by NIH, other federal agencies, and non-federal funding sources.
  • Funded Research Grant Data (FRGD) Directory: a searchable inventory of aggregate extramural research funding awarded to colleges and schools of pharmacy. This resource is restricted to members only.
  • Federal Grant Search: a searchable inventory of individual federal research grants awarded to faculty, staff and trainees at colleges and schools of pharmacy. This resource is restricted to members only.
  • Research Funding Opportunities: a resource of agencies and organizations that fund research grants in areas relevant to colleges and schools of pharmacy. Specific Notices of Funding Opportunity (NOFOs) that align well with pharmacy research are also featured.
  • New Investigator Award: a research grant for early-career faculty who have not yet received independent research funding.
