Funded Research Grant Institutional Tables

The funded research grant institutional tables provide aggregated grant data by institution for NIH, other federal, total federal, non-federal and a sum of all extramural research grants. The data provided in these files are accurate as of the time of AACP's data collection process (November-January) for each fiscal year and reflects information which is submitted to AACP. The first tab of the report provides information on the grant data collection process and methodology.

Current Institutional Tables

Institutional Tables for Fiscal Year 2023 (October 1, 2022 – September 30, 2023) are now available. Schools are listed in the tables in alphabetical order by state. Members must be logged in to access the report.

Methodology as of FY2023: Beginning with the FY2023 reports, data was collected and reviewed under revised and clarified guidelines, provided to schools in autumn 2023. Information on methodology can be found in the "Process and Methodology" tab of the institutional tables file, and additional information is available on the FRGD Collection page.

As of FY 2022: A column has been added to each table identifying each school as either Private or Public The tables also provide the average total funding over the last three years for each school that submitted a grant data report.
