The AACP Distinguished Service Award was established in 1985 by the AACP Board to provide an opportunity to recognize an individual outside of the academy who provided exemplary service to AACP and academic pharmacy. In 2004 the AACP Board elected to combine the Honorary President recognition with the Distinguished Service Award thus broadening the eligibility to individuals of distinction both inside and outside pharmacy education.
The award consists of a unique vase inscribed with a message recognizing the service for which the selected individual is being recognized and complimentary registration to the AACP Annual Meeting.
Please contact Adam Jackson, AACP Manager of Governance with any questions.
