The virtual Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Institute, co-hosted by the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy, returns Jan. 19–21, 2022, to help members further advance diversity, equity, inclusion and anti-racism efforts at their institution and throughout the Association. In this train-the-trainer model, institutional teams will have the opportunity to collaborate with other faculty and staff across the Academy to help enrich their own plans moving forward.

The hub will coordinate and implement a variety of programs and activities that will advance the contributions of pharmacy educators and practitioners to improve patient care.

The Student Services Personnel SIG will host a webinar showcasing two mental health professionals who will cover topics ranging for imposter syndrome, how we can help our mental health professionals, and when to refer students

This webinar will present an overview of the inception and development of this PGx case repository, how pharmacy educators can use it and contribute sharing their own cases to expand this repository. The webinar will conclude with a Q&A session with the Case Committee.

This session will describe the challenges associated with strategic planning at one institution and describe best practices for creating a functional strategic plan. Presenters will also share strategies to prevent your strategic plan from “sitting on the shelf”.
