ACT Community Pharmacy Transformation Educators Badge Application
The ACT Pharmacy Collaborative and AACP are launching Cohort 2 of the Community Pharmacy Practice Transformation Educators Badge Program. This program aims to provide a fun, contemporary way to connect community pharmacy practice leaders and educators, ultimately leading to recognition of educators with proven competencies in community-based pharmacy practice transformation.
To apply for this program, please complete and submit the form below. Once the application period ends on Dec. 13th, your application will be reviewed for eligibility and a decision email will be sent to you before the end of the year (2024).
Please note: If accepted into the program, a required fee of $149 will be charged.
Medical Billing Virtual Workshop
The How to Teach Medical Billing Basics: A Hands-On Workshop will prepare pharmacy educators to teach the basics of medical billing to pharmacy students as part of the PharmD curriculum. This program is intended for any pharmacy faculty member, regardless of prior medical billing knowledge or experience. The virtual Medical Billing Workshop will be held November 14, 2024.

Guided Grant Writing for Pharmacy Faculty: A Program in Real Time Program Application
Please fill out this form to nominate a member of your faculty or staff to participate in Guided Grant Writing for Pharmacy Faculty: A Program in Real Time. Participants in the program should be prepared to write a research proposal over the course of the program, with a goal of submitting the proposal to their funder of choice in Fall 2025. The program will provide guidance and advice on proposal organization and writing; participants should have a scientific reader, collaborator and/or mentor ready to provide feedback on the scientific details and research methods in the proposal.
AACP also plans to host a grant workshop held in conjunction with the 2025 AACP annual meeting. Attendance at the workshop is not required for participation in this program. Registration and travel costs for the workshop are not included in the program registration. Information about registration for the workshop will be coming in spring 2025.
This form must be submitted on or before January 15, 2025.
